PROBATE & ESTATE ADMINISTRATION

Probate or Letters of Administration is the process of appointing a legal personal representative, such as an executor or administrator, to deal with a deceased’s estate. It is an order of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, which allows the legal personal representative to collect and distribute the estate in accordance with the terms of the last valid will, if there is one.
We can help you:
-
understand what to do in relation to an estate when someone you love dies;
-
by advising you on intestate estates, i.e. if there is no will; and
-
by acting for you to draft applications for grants of Probate or Letters of Administration as well as administering and/or winding up an estate.
